About the Role
The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for the full‑time on‑site oversight of a housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative and risk‑management functions. The role requires ensuring compliance with company policies, safety and fair‑housing guidelines while leading staff to achieve operational goals. • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate on‑site staff; create weekly schedules and address performance issues. • Lead daily on‑site operations, maintaining regular attendance and ensuring adherence to company policies and fair‑housing/OSHA standards. • Develop and manage annual operating budgets, monitor rent collections, vendor invoices, and ensure accurate financial reporting. • Create and execute annual marketing and leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and resident retention. • Resolve resident complaints and implement retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Oversee maintenance activities, conduct regular property inspections, and manage vendor relationships to control costs and maintain property standards. • Serve as emergency response lead, coordinating staff and resident safety during incidents. • Ensure timely and accurate administrative and leasing reporting. • Maintain reliable transportation for on‑call emergency responsibilities.

What You Bring
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree or relevant housing experience preferred; CAM or ARM certification desired. • Demonstrate proficiency with on‑site software and basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. • Meet physical demands including standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.

Benefits
Compensation includes a salary range of $50,000‑$55,000 plus a total rewards package that may feature medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401(k) matching, performance bonuses, paid sick days and holidays. Offers are tailored based on experience, certifications and other factors.
