About the Role

The Construction Laborer assists craft workers with physical labor on job sites, ensuring the site remains clean, safe, and efficient while supporting overall project goals. The role may require travel to multiple locations on short notice. The worker must follow all company safety policies, complete required safety paperwork, and signal equipment operators to position machinery for loading, unloading, and moving materials. Duties include leveling earth to fine‑grade specifications, mixing and finishing concrete, positioning mechanical components such as pumps and motors, and applying protective coatings like paint, caulking, or stucco. Additional tasks involve grinding, sanding, or polishing surfaces, performing hand‑tool operations such as bolting, assembling metal parts, sawing lumber, and demolition cleanup, as well as maintaining and caring for assigned tools. • Adhere to company safety policies and complete all safety documentation. • Signal equipment operators to align and move machinery for loading, unloading, pushing, and pulling. • Level earth to fine‑grade specifications using hand tools. • Mix, place, and finish concrete or grout with portable mixers, floats, trowels, or screeds. • Position and connect pumps, motors, and other mechanical components. • Apply paints, caulking, and sealants, and spray water, sand, steam, or stucco as needed. • Operate abrasive tools to grind, sand, or polish concrete and steel surfaces. • Perform hand‑tool tasks such as bolting, assembling metal parts, sawing lumber, and demolition cleanup. • Maintain and care for assigned tools and equipment. • Travel to different job sites on short notice as required.
