About the Role
The Planning & Scheduling Manager will handle complex activities to develop project schedules of all sizes and provide leadership to the team. Responsibilities include guiding construction sequencing, delivering training, and overseeing critical path analysis, all in support of JE Dunn’s strategy, vision, and values. • Facilitate Lean principles and pull planning in schedule development and construction. • Create bid and proposal schedules for Marketing and Operations managers. • Lead critical path analysis and root cause investigations on problem projects. • Procure and supervise scheduling consultants to meet project requirements. • Review schedules for best‑practice compliance and provide feedback. • Guide development of planning and scheduling best‑practice standards. • Ensure reimbursability targets are met by the team and direct reports. • Align the CPM master schedule with pull‑plan results and lead Pull Planning sessions as needed. • Manage Change Management delays and claims (compensable, non‑compensable, excusable, non‑excusable). • Promote diversity, inclusion, and non‑discrimination policies organization‑wide. • Apply advanced scheduling concepts and identify improvement opportunities. • Recognize and address schedule sequencing concerns. • Conduct internal scheduling training classes. • Provide performance management feedback. • Conduct critical path analysis for time extensions and manage related claims. • Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications accurately. • Build collaborative relationships at all organizational levels. • Collaborate effectively within internal and external teams.

What You Bring
The role requires a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Periods of travel, relocation, and non‑traditional work hours may be necessary. The work environment is a normal office setting but may expose employees to extreme temperature conditions, with frequent sitting and occasional standing, walking, and other physical activities. • Perform work accurately, completely, and on time. • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing (advanced level). • Utilize MS Office at an advanced level. • Understand all construction project types and delivery methods. • Use scheduling software proficiently. • Apply Lean process and philosophy. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience. • Minimum 8 years of planning and scheduling experience (preferred). • Minimum 2 years of people management experience (preferred).
