About the Role
This position assists the Human Resources Manager in administering plans and programs to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources to support the South Molton site and the Aerospace goals and objectives. The role involves assisting the HR Manager with the administration and implementation of all HR phases, including employment, compensation, benefits, merit and VPP payments, labour relations, training, and employee compensation. It arranges and oversees final employment or transfer processing, handling background checks, Occupational Health surveillance and referrals, reviewing and verifying information, and extending employment offers, while also managing staffing correspondence such as offer and rejection letters. The position manages the disability claim process, coordinates each case with Occupational Health and/or MAKE UK, works with employees to facilitate positive relations, and expedites return to full‑duty work; it also collaborates with business leaders, employees, and representatives to foster a culture of engagement, coordinates employee survey participation, develops action plans, monitors metric completion, and oversees recruitment from start to finish within partner areas. • Support HR Manager in delivering HR programs aligned with site and aerospace objectives. • Administer employment, compensation, benefits, merit, VPP, labour relations, and training initiatives. • Coordinate final hiring and transfer processes, including background checks and occupational health screenings. • Manage disability claims, liaise with occupational health and external providers to expedite return‑to‑work. • Foster employee engagement by collaborating with leaders, representatives, and conducting survey feedback. • Develop and monitor action plans based on employee survey results and HR metrics. • Lead end‑to‑end recruitment across partnered business areas. • Provide day‑to‑day employee relations assistance and counseling.

What You Bring
Additional responsibilities include responding to day‑to‑day employee relations issues; required qualifications are a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or CIPD Level 5, excellent interpersonal and counseling skills, discretion with confidential information, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and preferably prior HRIS experience. • Require a HR bachelor’s degree or CIPD Level 5, strong interpersonal and confidential handling skills. • Proficient in MS Office; HRIS experience preferred.
