About the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver material in support of the manufacturing process, with a strong emphasis on inventory control. Working under the Warehouse Supervisor, the employee keeps materials organized, uses part numbers on all products, pulls and stages jobs according to the production schedule, and responds to material requisitions when pick lists or Kanban systems are unavailable. Accuracy of inventory is the highest priority, second only to safety. The role involves significant physical activity, including standing or walking on hard concrete for long periods, lifting frequently up to 40 lb and occasionally up to 50 lb, and handling materials up to 25 lb on a regular basis. Employees work in a noisy, dusty, non‑climate‑controlled industrial environment, may operate cranes, trucks, and other moving vehicles, and must wear appropriate personal protective equipment. The position requires a commitment to safety, including abstaining from operating equipment while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. • Deliver material and stage jobs according to the production schedule and pick tickets. • Maintain organized warehouse inventory with part numbers on all products. • Perform inventory transactions and inquiries using the ERP system, including discrepancy research. • Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, stand‑up) safely and hold certification. • Follow safety rules, JCI LEM program behaviors, and wear required PPE.

What You Bring

The position follows all duties outlined in the Material Handler I description and requires full familiarity with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. The employee must be trained and certified on all material‑handling equipment used throughout the plant, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and stand‑up trucks, and must proficiently access the ERP system to perform inventory transactions, locate stock by part number, and investigate discrepancies. Understanding the purpose of the quarantine location and adhering to the JCI LEM program and safety guidelines are also required. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of related experience, and a forklift certification. They must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals, perform basic calculations, and demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills. • Hold a high school diploma/GED and at least six months of related experience. • Demonstrate ability to read technical documents, perform basic math, and provide strong customer service. • Meet physical demands: frequently lift up to 25 lb, occasionally lift up to 50 lb, and work in a noisy, dusty environment.
