About the Role
• Operate motor grader and related grading equipment to perform finish grading tasks. • Perform equipment servicing, maintenance, and daily pre/post inspections with proper documentation. • Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA/environmental regulations for safe operations. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew, interpreting signals and grade stakes. • Use GPS control systems when available to achieve precise grading. • Read and interpret grade stakes and signals while operating both hands and feet simultaneously. • Work in noisy environments; hearing protection may be required. • Lift and carry objects up to 100 lb; climb, crawl, and maneuver around equipment.

What You Bring
The company is seeking an experienced Motor Grader “Finish Grade” Operator for its Huntsville, Alabama/North Alabama operations. The role reports to the General Manager of Construction & Superintendent and requires leading safety, quality, and revenue generation in both current and expanding projects. Successful candidates must consistently prioritize safety, adhere to OSHA/MSHA and environmental regulations, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions are essential. • Minimum 2–3 years experience in finish grading. • Proven ability to work safely and follow safety protocols. • Experience with GPS‑based grading equipment preferred. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts as needed. • Maintain good vision and hearing to follow commands and alarms. • Possess reliable transportation and be drug‑free with a passable pre‑employment screen.
