About the Role
• Perform regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and vehicles. • Diagnose root causes of issues and resolve them promptly. • Build and assemble mechanical components according to specifications. • Conduct diagnostic tests on engines, transmissions, and related systems. • Develop action plans for maintenance tasks and upgrades. • Operate fabrication equipment, including welding machines, cutting tools, and hand tools. • Clean and lubricate machinery components. • Replenish fluids and replace engine or machinery parts. • Repair hydraulic systems, paint vehicles, and handle other assigned duties. • Maintain work logs and maintenance records. • Monitor inventory levels and order new parts as needed. • Provide consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to users. • Cooperate with staff and follow all health and safety regulations.

What You Bring
Cinterra is seeking an experienced Mechanic/Fabricator to join its dynamic team. The role involves assembling, maintaining, and repairing machinery and vehicles to ensure functionality and reliability. Candidates must be physically and mentally fit, possess solid knowledge of mechanic tools and diagnostic equipment, and demonstrate strong attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills. The position operates primarily in a field environment, requiring extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting. Employees must work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind, and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. • High School diploma or GED required; vocational/trade certification preferred. • Minimum 6 months of mechanic experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role. • Own tools and a valid driver’s license (CDL a plus). • Strong knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical systems, and components. • Proficiency with hand tools and precision measurement instruments. • Ability to read instructions, blueprints, and follow established procedures. • Problem‑solving ability, physical strength, stamina, and ability to lift up to 50 lb. • Integrity and ability to work independently.
