Job Highlights
About the Role
Safely operates a tractor‑trailer, straight truck, or pup trailer requiring a Class A CDL to perform assigned duties on designated routes. • Operate vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (eDVIR) and record any issues for corrective action. • Immediately report unsafe situations or unscheduled service calls to the Operations Manager and Dispatch before attempting service. • Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by the Operations Manager. • Collaborate with Operations Managers and Dispatch to improve route efficiencies and identify unsafe or problematic accounts. • Perform all duties scheduled by Operations Manager and Dispatch, and assist other company drivers as directed. • Notify Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage. • Report service issues per Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers or incomplete services. • Communicate customer requests, issues, or service changes to Operations Manager and Dispatch. • Dump all containers and leave the customer’s location clean and free of debris. • Position containers on customer property to avoid blocking driveways or traffic. • Follow route assignments throughout the day and complete all required documentation at the end of the route. • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking, and hearing.

What You Bring
The position may require travel by air or access to federal property, so candidates must possess a REAL ID or a TSA‑approved alternative, or be willing to obtain one. • Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the country of employment. • Minimum of one year operating a CDL‑required vehicle or equivalent military driving experience within the last seven years. • Hold a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A. • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodations. • Successfully complete pre‑employment DOT drug screening, physical examination, and background check, including employment, criminal history, and motor‑vehicle record review. • Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
