About the Role
The Laborer performs manual labor tasks across many facets of the construction job site. They are responsible for producing high‑quality work safely and productively, while ensuring that all materials, tools, equipment, and information are available. The role seeks opportunities for improvement, embraces learning from others, and requires understanding of safety hazards and proper tool use. Work may occur in plant operations or on a construction jobsite. • Perform general clean‑up • Dig footings with hand tools • Load and unload materials • Strip concrete forms • Operate power tools (e.g., vibrators, compactors, jackhammers, chipping guns) • Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces, and remove rubble and debris • Assist other craft workers as needed

What You Bring
Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb (occasionally 100 lb), repetitive hand and arm use, and strong hand‑eye coordination. The worker must communicate clearly, operate hand and power tools with training, climb and balance on scaffolds, ladders, and frameworks, and perform tasks such as bending, crawling, kneeling, and standing on uneven or adverse conditions. Exposure to weather, confined spaces, and the need for respirators may also be required. Mentally, the Laborer must communicate effectively with management, work at varying tempos, and maintain concentration amid distractions. Decision‑making skills and attention to detail are essential for remembering, examining, and observing work details.
