About the Role
The role provides technical expertise and supports geotechnical staff across the branch and region, attends client and ECS project meetings to deliver technical solutions, and may mentor Associate Principals and serve on the review committee for Associate Principal designations. Key duties at office and regional levels include overseeing projects, reviewing technical reports, preparing and reviewing proposals, assisting department management and P&L, driving business development, supporting marketing, aiding hiring decisions, and leading and coaching junior staff. Responsibilities may also extend to CMT tasks due to low barriers between departments. • Provide technical expertise and support to geotechnical staff across branch and region. • Host or attend client and ECS project meetings to deliver technical solutions. • Mentor Associate Principals and participate in the Associate Principal review committee. • Oversee projects, review technical reports, and manage proposals. • Assist department management, P&L oversight, and business development initiatives. • Maintain and develop client interactions and support marketing efforts. • Aid hiring managers in staffing decisions and coach junior staff members. • Perform cross‑departmental tasks, including CMT responsibilities as needed.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology or a related field, have at least 12 years of relevant experience, and be designated as a senior reviewer at their current or previous firm. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in the applicable states is required, as is a valid driver’s license when driving for any ECS subsidiary. • Hold a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field. • Possess at least 12 years of relevant experience and senior reviewer designation. • Hold a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in relevant states. • Maintain a valid driver’s license for company‑related travel.
