About the Role

Key duties include confirming customer requirements, overseeing the entire project lifecycle—order preparation, manufacturing release, shipment, post‑shipment support, and financial reconciliation—and ensuring compliance with Schneider Electric safety policies on site. The manager provides upfront sales support during quotation, validates statements of work and contracts, develops schedules, and coordinates internal manufacturing and third‑party vendors. Throughout execution, they lead kickoff meetings, manage subcontractors, monitor progress, resolve issues, and control project risks, and they also drive project closeout activities such as equipment verification, installation, start‑up, training, and final financial reconciliation. • Confirm customer requirements, drawings, specifications, site needs, and bill‑of‑materials alignment. • Manage the full project process from order preparation through manufacturing release, shipment, post‑shipment support, and financial reconciliation. • Ensure Schneider Electric safety policies are met at all onsite locations. • Provide upfront sales support during quotation and preparation to guarantee specification compliance. • Validate the statement of work and contract terms, acting as the primary customer liaison. • Develop and communicate detailed project schedules while coordinating internal manufacturing and third‑party vendors. • Conduct kickoff meetings, coordinate subcontractors, and monitor execution against the schedule. • Lead monitoring and control activities, including task verification, schedule reporting, issue resolution, and contract administration. • Oversee project closeout, including equipment verification, installation, start‑up, training, and final financial reconciliation. • Identify value‑engineering opportunities, propose alternate products, and communicate technical and financial risks with mitigation plans.

What You Bring

The CSP Senior Project Manager at Schneider Electric is responsible for managing moderate‑to‑complex project orders within the Cloud Service Provider segment, guiding them from initiation through closure. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer goals for efficiency, resiliency and sustainability. Success requires strong project‑management fundamentals, knowledge of electrical power distribution, and the ability to lead dynamic teams. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or equivalent, with PMP certification preferred. They need 5–10 years of project‑management experience in data‑center or related construction/electrical environments, deep subcontractor, financial and risk‑management expertise, and technical knowledge of medium‑voltage switchgear, UPS, generators, and building systems. Strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office (Project) and experience supervising technical staff are also required. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field; PMP preferred. • 5–10 years of project‑management experience in data‑center, construction, electrical power distribution, or mechanical systems. • Proven expertise in subcontractor management, project financials, and risk mitigation. • Technical knowledge of medium‑voltage switchgear, diesel generators, UPS, power distribution, fire/security, and HVAC/BMS systems. • Experience leading and supervising technical project teams to improve customer satisfaction and profitability. • Excellent verbal and written communication; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and familiarity with Smartsheets.
