About the Role
The role supports the implementation of the Management System of Environmental, Safety, Security and Health (MESH) by utilizing MESH tools and co‑leading MESH teams. The incumbent will prepare and deliver presentations across all functions to ensure compliance with MESH guidelines and to guide teams toward effective resolutions. Training and hands‑on experience with MESH tools will be obtained to drive continuous improvements aligned with plant objectives. Collaboration with management and facility employees at all levels is essential for facilitating, leading, or assisting teams in achieving departmental and plant goals related to safety standards and environmental/permit regulations. The position supports the establishment and maintenance of key EHS operational controls, creates training matrices to track completion, and works with EHS leaders to complete annual compliance evaluations for federal, state, and local regulations. Project management responsibility spans from initiation through completion, with flexible hours as needed. • Implement and co‑lead MESH tools and teams to improve safety, environmental, security, and health performance. • Prepare and deliver cross‑functional presentations to ensure MESH compliance and resolve issues. • Develop and maintain training matrices, ensuring completion of required EHS training. • Lead or support EHS project management from initiation through completion. • Monitor and resolve EHS operational controls and action items promptly. • Conduct annual compliance evaluations for EHS regulations at country, state, and local levels. • Assist with Workers Compensation programs and injury/illness management. • Apply process‑improvement techniques to prevent future incidents. • Handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion. • Provide support for electrical safety in live‑electrical environments.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of experience in an environmental, health, or safety role within a manufacturing environment, including three years of electrical safety experience. Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations, as well as team‑building, organizational, and managerial‑courage skills, are required. Applicants must reside within 50 miles of the Omaha facility (except active‑duty military) and be able to handle confidential information and support workers‑compensation and injury‑illness management. • Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum of 2 years EHS experience in a manufacturing setting. • At least 3 years electrical safety experience or support for live‑electrical work. • Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations. • Demonstrated team‑building, organizational, and managerial‑courage skills. • Ability to lead cross‑functional EHS teams.
