About the Role
The Technician 1 role performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. The fleet varies by location but primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment such as large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related machines. • Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management • May need to provide tools of trade

Related experience may include roles such as Shop Mechanic, Service Foreman, Diesel Technician, Hydraulic Mechanic, or ASE Certified Mechanic. • Build skills by working on a variety of makes, models & equipment • High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired • 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel, heavy construction, or specialty equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas) strongly preferred • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs
