About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance program under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Responsibilities include routine, corrective, preventative, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, as well as the make‑ready process for units. • Attend the community daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic maintenance, including swimming‑pool care and accurate chemical logging. • Assist with unit turn‑around (make‑ready) tasks, scheduling, and cleanup of exterior grounds, breezeways, and common spaces. • Maintain a well‑organized, stocked shop; monitor inventory of tools and supplies; and adhere to OSHA and Asset Living safety policies. • Conduct daily inspections of grounds, buildings, and amenities to identify and remediate hazardous conditions. • Provide excellent customer service, track service‑request turnaround, and enforce community policies consistently. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager. • Meet physical demands such as climbing ladders, lifting 100+ lb objects, working in confined spaces, and operating power tools and vehicles.

What You Bring

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Have reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.

Benefits

Compensation includes $22‑$24 per hour plus a total rewards package (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) match, bonuses, paid sick days and holidays). Offers are based on skill set, experience and certifications, and reliable transportation is required for on‑call emergencies.
