About the Role
The Transportation Coordinator/EIT will join project engineers to design urban and rural roadway projects, handling alignment, profile, geometry, drainage plans, and construction estimating, while also assisting with technical reports, specifications, and calculations. • Collaborate with project engineers on detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects. • Develop alignment, profile, geometry, drainage plans, and construction cost estimates. • Assist in preparing and submitting technical reports, specifications, and calculations.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and demonstrate a commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture. Preferred qualifications include an Engineer‑in‑Training certificate, proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD and highway‑design software such as Bentley ConceptStation, Open Roads Designer, Autodesk Infraworks or Civil 3D, and a preference for local applicants. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline. • Possess (or be prepared to obtain) an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification. • Demonstrate proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD and highway‑design software such as Bentley ConceptStation, Open Roads Designer, Autodesk Infraworks, or Civil 3D.
