About the Role
The Buildings team in British Columbia is seeking a project coordinator to support community‑building projects across the province, ranging from complex defence‑related facilities to northern and permafrost‑influenced builds. The role focuses on coordinating multidisciplinary tasks, supporting project managers, and maintaining control systems to keep schedules, documentation, and deliverables aligned. • Coordinate multidisciplinary project tasks, maintaining alignment of deliverables, schedules, and documentation across the Buildings portfolio. • Support project managers in executing and tracking defence‑related building projects to deliver secure, resilient facilities. • Maintain project control systems such as schedules, action logs, procurement tracking, financial updates, and document control. • Facilitate collaboration among engineering, architectural, and specialty consultant teams to keep milestones on track. • Organize fieldwork planning, sub‑consultant coordination, and technical deliverable submissions. • Apply structured coordination practices for northern or permafrost‑affected projects, integrating cold‑region design considerations. • Ensure compliance with enhanced documentation and protocols for secure or defence‑sector environments. • Work within established quality frameworks to support effective delivery and continuous improvement.

What You Bring
• Experience coordinating building projects in consulting engineering, construction, or architectural settings. • Familiarity with defence building projects or interest in developing secure‑facility delivery capabilities. • Strong organizational skills and proficiency with project management and document control tools. • Ability to obtain a Reliability Status security clearance required for federal and defence work. • Ability to thrive in multidisciplinary environments and contribute to community‑strengthening projects.
