About the Role

Typical duties include managing multiple trade disciplines (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, finishes, etc.) subcontractors engaged in field construction activities. Reviewing drawings, assisting with scope of work development, developing and following project schedules, attending and leading client weekly progress meetings, and coordinating and scheduling subcontractors. Obtain, submit and follow up with material submittals and shop drawings, perform site layout, review subcontractors on site performance for safe work practices, perform daily progress reports, and photo documentation of project activities. Assist with quantity take‑offs for proposal development, track monthly subcontractor hours, assist with as‑builts and close‑out documents, and approve subcontractor payment applications. May require climbing a ladder or heavy lifting of materials as required. • Manage multiple trade disciplines and subcontractors on site. • Review drawings and assist with scope development. • Develop and maintain project schedules; lead weekly client progress meetings. • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors. • Obtain, submit, and track material submittals and shop drawings. • Perform site layout and enforce safe work practices. • Generate daily progress reports and photographic documentation. • Conduct quantity take‑offs, track subcontractor hours, and prepare as‑built and close‑out documents. • Approve subcontractor payment applications. • Perform occasional ladder climbing and heavy material lifting.

What You Bring

Five years of current experience as a lead superintendent on commercial, educational, or government projects, with a solid work history and overall knowledge of various trades. Experience in interior and exterior projects is required; a college degree is preferred but not required. Proficient in Microsoft Project, Adobe, Word, and Excel, with preferred experience in e‑Builder, Kahua, or other client document retention programs. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred. Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, work well with others, follow the chain of command, pass drug screening, medical evaluation, and maintain a good driving record. Prior experience on a JOC contract is a plus. • 5+ years experience as lead superintendent on commercial, educational, or government projects. • Solid work history with knowledge of interior and exterior trades. • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Adobe, Word, Excel; familiar with e‑Builder or Kahua. • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively. • Pass drug screening, medical evaluation, and maintain a good driving record. • Prior JOC contract experience considered a plus.
