About the Role
A Driver‑CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, providing prompt and courteous waste removal services, and ensuring the vehicle complies with the Company’s safety standards before each operation. The driver must adhere to all Company, state, and federal regulations while operating the vehicle and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, following route sheets and maps to service customers, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of refuse, and interacting courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. The driver must identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers, monitor waste for unacceptable materials, clean accidental spills, maintain vehicle readiness by cleaning packer blades and truck bodies, and complete required productivity and reporting forms while meeting departmental productivity standards.

Applicants must hold a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
