About the Role
A CNC Programmer at Veritas Steel's Eau Claire location is responsible for CNC programming across multiple facilities, planning, organizing, coordinating, and executing bridge fabrication projects according to established procedures. The role involves working on the production floor where exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, and heavy steel is common. Personal protective equipment—including safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel‑toed boots—is required at all times. • Program CNC operations and manage DXF files from import through output. • Provide technical direction, support, and troubleshooting for CNC operators. • Adjust CNC programming files and equipment as required. • Support the Production Scheduler and Material Coordinator. • Release production tracking documents, CNC drill programs, CNC programs, and cut lists. • Maintain job‑specific files and oversee FabSuite data, including piece marks, routings, and shop floor cut lists. • Participate in project planning, weekly meetings, and coordinate operation sequences from project notification to shipment. • Execute schedules prioritizing safety, quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency. • Read advanced blueprints and utilize AutoCAD/CAD‑CAM for modeling and programming.

What You Bring
• Apply Prime Cut experience (preferred) and proficiently use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Demonstrate strong organizational, record‑keeping, and communication skills. • Hold formal CAD, CAM, and CNC training with 3+ years manufacturing experience (preferred).
