About the Role

The role is Director of Project Controls for a large‑scale data centre construction program in Beaver County, PA. This senior leadership position will establish and oversee robust project controls processes, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting and governance across all delivery phases while acting as a trusted advisor to clients and supporting major client accounts and business initiatives. The successful candidate will lead a high‑performing project controls team, collaborate with project leadership, contractors and finance, and champion best‑practice tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project. The role also involves governance, risk, change, and performance reporting, as well as compliance with SOX controls where applicable. • Set strategic direction for cost, schedule, and risk management on a large data centre program. • Develop governance frameworks, reporting protocols, and project controls processes. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, earned value analysis, variance reporting, and cost estimating. • Lead creation and integration of detailed CPM schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project) across all project phases. • Define and manage risk registers, conduct risk workshops, and perform Monte Carlo analyses. • Manage change control, scope evaluation, impact analysis, and cost‑reduction initiatives. • Prepare executive dashboards, gateway documents, and senior‑level performance reports. • Ensure alignment of cost and schedule objectives with project managers, finance, and contractors. • Drive data integrity using project controls tools and maintain performance measurement protocols. • Lead, mentor, and evaluate a high‑performing project controls team. • Act as liaison with stakeholders, reviewing implementation plans, claim resolutions, and recovery strategies. • Identify process‑improvement opportunities to support broader business initiatives. • Adhere to SOX control requirements where applicable.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, finance or a related field (advanced degree preferred) and 12+ years of project controls experience on large construction programmes, with at least two years of leadership in a consulting environment. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in cost forecasting, earned‑value management, risk analysis, integrated controls systems, and proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project and advanced Excel; professional certifications (CCP, PSP, PMP) are highly desirable.
