Job Highlights
About the Role
The position is Monday‑Friday, 4:00 AM‑3:30 PM. As a Sorter, you will ensure proper placement and sorting of materials on the conveyor line. • Inspect and sort materials by type, size, condition, color, or paper grade. • Remove contaminants from paper and work surfaces. • Stack and dump boxes, skids, and totes as needed. • Load wastepaper onto the conveyor system. • Clean the conveyor line and maintain a tidy work area. • Monitor machine startup and ensure proper operating speed. • Follow standard operating procedures for equipment use and maintenance. • Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly. • Attend weekly and monthly safety/operations meetings. • Work in indoor garage/shop/gas‑plant settings and outdoor conditions, including inclement weather.

What You Bring
No prior experience is required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. The role involves climbing, balancing, repetitive motions, and work in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in inclement weather.
