About the Role

The Pump Technician works in the NCI Operations department under the Operations Manager and is responsible for assembling and testing cryogenic pumps. The role includes monitoring production to detect hazardous conditions and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. • Hydro‑statically test parts per prints and ITP/PTP • Assemble parts and components according to drawings • Build in‑tank/ex‑tank electrical assemblies from drawings • Disassemble pumps/components on schedule • Install instrumentation per engineering design • Prepare vacuum bagging and ready pumps/components for shipment • Compile shipment kits following bill of material • Maintain a clean work area and enforce supply discipline • Report shop supply needs to supervisor or Operations Manager • Use and maintain all company‑issued safety equipment • Conduct monthly strap and sling safety inspections • Immediately report safety concerns • Assist in identifying issues and suggest improvements • Follow preventative maintenance procedures for equipment and tools

What You Bring

The position requires regular communication, standing, walking, and frequent use of hands and arms, with the ability to hear and speak clearly while performing duties. • High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in a similar role • Strong mechanical skills, fine assembly ability, and drawing interpretation • Critical thinking, good decision‑making, attention to detail, and organization • Preferred direct industry experience; proven reliability and dedication
