About the Role
The Training Driver Trainer role delivers, assesses, and coaches designated training curricula based on organizational needs identified by leadership and training teams. The position includes final evaluations and coaching sessions to determine participant performance ratings. Travel and training across the United States are required, and the role is non-union. Trainers model professional behavior, communicate expectations, and maintain accurate training records by reporting schedules, attendance, and observations to the Training Coordinator. They use adult and accelerated learning techniques, provide observation-based feedback, and improve trainee performance during classroom and course exercises. Additional duties include sharing feedback for final evaluations, staying current on training procedures, and collaborating with other driver trainers and field managers. • Deliver and coach training curricula using adult learning principles. • Record and report schedules, attendance, and observations to maintain accurate training records. • Assess trainee performance through observation and provide feedback to improve skills. • Conduct final evaluations and coaching sessions to determine performance ratings. • Stay up-to-date on training procedures via industry publications and professional journals. • Coordinate with other driver trainers and field managers on operations and training needs. • Perform physical tasks requiring finger dexterity, occasional handling of objects under 30 lb, and occasional exposure to cuts, burns, or chemicals.

What You Bring
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Candidates must hold an accredited Associate’s degree (or a high school diploma/GED with two years of work experience) and possess at least one year of prior driving experience in the trucking industry. Preferred qualifications include a DZ or higher license and bilingual proficiency in French and English. The role demands motor coordination, occasional handling of objects under 30 lbs, and exposure to physical risks and varied environmental conditions such as dirt, odors, noise, and extreme weather. Work settings alternate between office environments and outdoor skills courses. The base salary ranges from $80,000 to $95,000, with eligibility for bonuses. Travel may require a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative for air travel or access to federal property; candidates must obtain or be willing to obtain the necessary identification. • Hold an accredited Associate’s degree (or high school diploma/GED with two years’ experience) plus one year of trucking-industry driving experience. • Possess a DZ or higher driver’s license (preferred) and bilingual ability in French and English (preferred). • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Windows, presentation, facilitation, feedback, assessment, coaching, interpersonal and teamwork skills. • Work in office and outdoor training environments, frequently experiencing dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes.
