About the Role

MasTec Communications Group builds for the future, focusing on safety and community impact. As a Warehouse Coordinator you will develop new skills while helping the company provide high‑quality service to its customers. In this role you will move material throughout the distribution center using equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and conveyors, while ensuring inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and a clean workspace. • Move material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other equipment. • Receive, log, and stock incoming inventory in the warehouse system. • Fill customer invoices, verify part numbers, and pack inventory items. • Inspect inventory for defects and report issues to the Warehouse Manager. • Follow all safety and accident procedures, including DOT and OSHA standards. • Track inventory accurately in the appropriate system. • Organize and clean warehouse spaces and equipment regularly. • Report customer problems or concerns immediately. • Coach associates on operational practices, equipment use, and safety procedures. • Enforce policies to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations. • Evaluate current processes and suggest improvements to management. • Identify ways to reduce cost per unit and increase productivity. • Maintain working knowledge of the warehouse data system and perform related tasks. • Deliver supplies and equipment promptly while adhering to regulatory standards. • Participate in 401(k) with company match and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of warehouse experience, forklift certification (or experience), and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, solve problems hands‑on, and operate Microsoft Word and Excel. • Read work orders and shipping instructions; follow verbal directions as needed. • Maintain a high level of work quality and problem‑solving ability. • Possess a high school diploma or GED and be able to stand/walk for long periods. • Lift and move up to 25 lb regularly, up to 50 lb occasionally. • Have forklift operating experience; certification is a plus. • Use personal computers proficiently, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
