About the Role
In this position you will prepare and review both 2‑D orthographic and 3‑D isometric drawings, ensure conformance to applicable standards, and collaborate closely with engineers and other disciplines to produce coordinated design systems. You will also generate alternative design layouts, mentor junior designers, and support additional responsibilities as needed. • Prepare complex civil layout and design drawings using CAD and advanced software. • Ensure designs conform to industry standards, codes, and company policies. • Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design systems. • Develop alternative design layouts and review orthographic/isometric drawings. • Mentor and train junior designers on procedures and best practices.

What You Bring
We are seeking a talented Senior Civil Designer to develop difficult and complex layout and design drawings that meet company and industry standards and codes. The role requires strong theoretical and practical design knowledge and the ability to work with advanced CAD software. The ideal candidate holds a two‑year technical degree or equivalent certification and brings at least eight years of civil infrastructure experience, including site design, roadways, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater on U.S. government projects. Proficiency with Civil 3D and strong PC/CAD skills are essential, while no security clearance is required. • Hold a 2‑year technical degree or equivalent and 8+ years of civil design experience. • Proficient in Civil 3D with experience in site design, roads, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater on U.S. government projects. • No security clearance required for this position.
