About the Role
In this position you will perform advanced technical and engineering problem solving to support nuclear plant operations, make technical decisions, and apply detailed knowledge of industry codes and regulations. Responsibilities include delivering engineering analysis, managing tasks, ensuring configuration control, and conducting independent research to recommend equipment improvements. • Deliver in‑depth engineering analysis and solutions for nuclear plant equipment and systems. • Lead task management, ensuring designs meet industry codes, standards, and configuration controls. • Conduct independent research, studies, and recommend upgrades to improve performance and reduce costs. • Support emergency response, outage activities, and provide departmental coverage as needed.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications differ by level: the mid‑level engineer must hold a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and have at least two years of nuclear or related experience, while the senior engineer requires a bachelor’s degree and five years of nuclear experience. Both levels must satisfy the ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 personnel qualification standards and maintain required access and medical clearances. Preferred qualifications include experience with raw water systems, long‑term asset management, troubleshooting emergent system issues, Professional Engineer registration, and advanced technical degrees or related coursework. • Minimum qualifications: BS in engineering (mechanical, nuclear, etc.) with 2 years (mid‑level) or 5 years (senior) nuclear experience and compliance with ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014. • Preferred qualifications include raw water system experience, asset management, troubleshooting, PE license, and advanced technical education.
