About the Role
The Program Director will oversee the entire programme of projects, handling planning, scheduling, budgeting, progress tracking and resource coordination, and will be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. This PMC role includes engineering management, procurement and delivery for major power and water transmission projects, working with multiple supervision consultants and EPC contractors appointed by the client. • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of the programme. • Coordinate with clients, supervision consultants, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities. • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets. • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. • Monitor progress, identify deviations, and apply corrective actions. • Prepare and present regular reports on progress, risks, and commercial status to senior management and client executives. • Implement effective risk‑management strategies to mitigate project issues. • Ensure constructability and compliance with industry standards in partnership with the technical team. • Mentor and develop project team members, fostering knowledge sharing. • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships to secure support and address concerns.

What You Bring
• Hold a master’s (preferred) or bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field. • Possess 20+ years experience in large power and water distribution programmes, with proven PMC leadership. • Demonstrate deep knowledge of project‑management methodologies, electrical/mechanical engineering, and UAE regulatory requirements. • Skilled in project scheduling, resource management, and risk mitigation. • Exhibit exceptional leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. • Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and resolve conflicts. • Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
