About the Role

The TMC/RA Manager supports 24 × 7 × 365 operations and oversees roadside and TMC personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and coordinated incident response across the E‑470 corridor. This leadership position requires initiative, decisive judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement, anticipating operational needs and proactively solving problems in a dynamic, safety‑critical environment. A core expectation is staff development; the manager evaluates performance, provides coaching and training, and supports growth through safety, incident management, and operational training programs, building a high‑performing team capable of meeting routine and emergency demands. • Directly supervise day-to‑day TMC and RA operations, ensuring consistent execution of SOPs. • Monitor and audit staff performance to meet safety and KPI goals. • Maintain staff work schedules and provide replacements during absences. • Manage fleet activities, including scheduling, inspections, and maintenance. • Oversee TIM Training program and ensure continuous training. • Participate in or lead severe incident after‑action reviews and other TIM activities. • Serve as Safety Lead; develop and update the Road Management Safety Program. • Conduct safety audits using field ride‑alongs and system records. • Deliver corrective actions or disciplinary measures as needed. • Assist in preparing recurring or ad‑hoc reports and research. • Perform routine administrative tasks as required.

What You Bring

WSP is an equal‑opportunity employer and requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States. • Achieve SHRP2 TIM Train‑the‑Trainer Certification, National TIM Responder training, and NIMS 100, 200, 300, 700. • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. • Three years of experience in a TMC, emergency dispatch, incident management, roadside assistance, or safety service patrol (or five years combined relevant experience). • At least two years of TMC experience within total experience. • Minimum one year of supervisory or management experience leading or training staff. • Ability to work alternate schedules and be on‑call 24 hours/day. • Ability to multitask and coordinate real‑time activities and priorities. • Ability to write reports, manuals, and correspondence. • Valid driver’s license and pass driving record check.
