• Define project scope, schedule, and budget, then direct and monitor delivery for water‑resources initiatives of varying size and complexity. • Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, modelers, subconsultants, scientists, and planners while serving as the primary client liaison. • Develop and implement QA/QC and risk‑management plans tailored to each project’s technical demands. • Provide mentorship and oversee the technical development of junior staff members. • Support business development activities, including pursuit planning, proposal preparation, interview participation, and client strategy formulation.

What You Bring

HDR is seeking a proven leader with strong technical expertise to join the Florida Water Business Group as a Senior Water Resources Management Project Manager. The role collaborates with leadership, project managers, and technical staff across Florida, the Southeast, and nationally to deliver high‑quality technical solutions for clients. The Senior WRM Project Manager will oversee water‑resources projects ranging from modest stormwater designs to large dams, levees, and civil works, requiring experience in flood control, dam safety, stormwater treatment, risk management, reservoirs, and related construction activities. • Maintain established relationships with the South Florida Water Management District and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (preferred). • Demonstrate leadership and supervisory experience, fostering staff growth and project success. • Possess technical expertise in at least one area: H&H analysis/design, dam safety, site civil design, geotechnical engineering, or structural engineering. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license, and at least ten years of relevant experience. • Include a minimum of five years of project‑management experience and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project (Access a plus). • Exhibit strong leadership, business‑development, and strategic‑planning skills, along with a commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture.
