About the Role

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician you will support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will also install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians to develop their skills. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment, and tracking department inventory. Shifts can last up to 12 hours, require standing, walking, and lifting up to 49 lb, and may involve up to 20 % travel. • Support Operations Maintenance by repairing and maintaining material handling and pneumatic equipment. • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution systems. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their technical skills. • Promote safety and follow all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE (belts, motors, sensors, relays). • Track and manage department inventory.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent, flexible availability for weekends, nights, or holidays, and at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment and performing predictive and preventative maintenance. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in mechanical or electrical fields, experience with automated conveyor systems, blueprint and schematic reading, CMMS usage, and robotic or electromechanical maintenance. The role demands physical capabilities such as repetitive bending, crouching, reaching, lifting parts averaging 20 lb (occasionally up to 49 lb), and working in small, dusty, noisy, or temperature‑extreme environments, including heights and uneven surfaces. • Travel up to 20 % as required. • 2+ years experience in MHE repair and predictive/preventative maintenance. • Associate degree in mechanical/electrical (preferred). • Experience with automated conveyors, blueprint reading, CMMS, and robotic maintenance (preferred). • Ability to lift 20‑49 lb, stand/walk 12‑hour shifts, and perform repetitive motions. • Work in confined spaces, heights, and varied environmental conditions.
