Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events and trade shows.

About the Role
• Identify and secure venues, negotiate contracts and coordinate logistics (catering, AV, décor, transportation). • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. • Work with Marketing and Communications team on other strategic initiatives and campaigns as assigned. • Assist with the development of event communications, including, but not limited to, invitations, promotional materials, branded sales swag, PowerPoint slide decks, virtual presentation and meeting setup (e.g., Teams and Zoom) and programs/booklets and signage. • Troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth operations during events. • Oversee event setup, registration, live programming and breakdown. • Collect feedback, analyze event success and prepare reports for leadership. • Source and manage vendors, ensuring compliance with TD’s brand and safety guidelines. • Make strategic recommendations for future events that maximize program effectiveness and streamline cost. • Develop and manage event timelines, budgets and detailed checklists. • Ensure all activities comply with TDIndustries’ industry-leading safety standards and legal requirements. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales professionals for trade shows and administrative support professionals.

What You Bring
• 2+ years of experience in corporate communications, event planning, marketing or related fields (corporate event management experience preferred). • Proficiency in event management software applications such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, Cvent and/or Eventbrite also preferred. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information. • Understanding of branding, promotion and audience engagement. • Strong time management skills • and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Strong negotiation and contract analysis skills. • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. • Strong creativity and problem-solving skills. • Corporate event planning and management experience, including B2B sales trade shows. • Although not required, Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or similar credential preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders. • Positive attitude and collaborative mindset, including ability to work cross-functionally among teams. • Experience in marketing, communications and/or event management preferred • Proficiency in business software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Canva, ClickUp (or other task management software), Smartsheet and/or HubSpot a plus. • Strong organizational and project management skills. • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. • Bachelor’s degree in relevant or related field (E.g., marketing, hospitality, public relations, business, event management, etc.)
