About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of HR administration and transactional services is consistent, accurate and operates to best practice in a fast-paced environment. Transforms the team to provide great end-to-end services to improve the credibility and reputation of the HR function. Supports the Head of HR Services with all elements of deliverables for the function, engaging and empowering the HR Services team such that they are successful and operate in line with current HR policies and procedural changes that affect colleagues. • Works closely with the Head of function to manage performance delivery and balance supply and demand. • Supports the team through the digitalisation of operational processes and the implementation of a digital platform for query handling and access to HR support. • Ensures HR Services processes and services are efficient, effective and consistently applied. • Provides the HR Services team with the skills, knowledge and tools to meet key deliverables accurately, timely and in line with best practice, delivering a customer‑focused value‑add service. • Implements Oracle HR processes to expected standards and ensures all HR service systems, documentation and internal ways of working are Mace‑compliant. • Develops and maintains strong, credible internal stakeholder relationships. • Acts as an escalation point for urgent and complex HR queries to achieve the best outcomes. • Evaluates the service regularly through various mechanisms. • Reviews the team toolkit to ensure practical service delivery meets changing business needs. • Implements a continuous improvement and lean thinking programme to streamline processes and maximise efficiency and effectiveness. • Supports team development, providing varied and interesting work to help members achieve and exceed their potential. • Works collaboratively towards net‑zero carbon transition, proactively identifying and managing associated carbon emissions and reductions. • Presents accurate, high‑quality information and data to diverse audiences. • Manages volume, routine, complex and diverse HR matters across the full employee life cycle. • Develops contemporary HR blueprints, tools and standard operating procedures to drive service improvement and efficiency.

What You Bring

• MS skills: Word, PowerPoint and Excel. • Knowledge of and experience with UK employment law. • Possesses shared‑service knowledge in a complex business environment. • Experience working with remote users and managing remotely. • Ability to meet short‑notice requirements and deadlines.
