About the Role
The General Repair Technician III – Static is tasked with operating the facility’s mechanical and supporting systems, carrying out structured inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, and delivering routine and on‑demand services to ensure equipment reliability and client operations remain uninterrupted. The role requires adherence to established processes, compliance with environmental, health, safety and fire‑protection regulations, and accurate documentation of work in the service management database, while supporting preventative‑maintenance programs and facility‑wide projects. • Observe facility mechanical/electrical conditions, identify deficiencies and suggest improvements • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment per established processes • Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections of mechanical, electrical and other systems • Respond to routine and on‑demand service requests to maintain asset integrity and uptime • Operate facility mechanical and supporting systems safely • Manage work orders from dispatch to completion, recording resolution data in the maintenance database • Assist in implementing and documenting the preventative‑maintenance program • Contribute to tenant/customer satisfaction through professional service delivery • Participate in facility‑related projects and ensure work complies with corporate and regulatory policies • Maintain and repair assigned tools, arranging replacements as needed • Submit all expenditures promptly

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high‑school diploma plus relevant trades training, at least three years of HVAC, pneumatic or hydraulic maintenance experience, and possess a strong safety mindset, client‑service orientation, and the ability to work shifts, on‑call and emergency call‑outs. • High school diploma with trades certification or licensing • Minimum three years of preventive and corrective maintenance experience on HVAC, pneumatic or hydraulic systems • Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC operations • Strong environmental, health and safety awareness and adherence to PPE requirements • Effective communication and mentoring abilities to support junior technicians • Ability to work shifts, on‑call/standby and handle emergency call‑outs • Ability to obtain required security clearance • Building Operator Certification or equivalent accredited qualification
