About the Role
The internship is part of the Quality Engineering crew within the WM Digital Team, known for innovative, collaborative approaches and AI‑driven solutions. Interns will explore new tools and technologies such as AI‑driven testing, learn behind‑the‑scenes processes, and contribute ideas that help WM fulfill its purpose. • Identify and define problems using analytical reasoning. • Perform data analysis and generate insights with actionable recommendations. • Synthesize findings into clear oral and written reports for supervisors. • Execute tasks that support functional projects and drive process improvements. • Communicate issues and roadblocks to appropriate stakeholders.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED and be pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the internship. Preference is given to candidates with experience in AI‑related tools and a willingness to explore how AI can enhance quality engineering, testing, and automation. The position may require air travel or access to federal property, so candidates must possess a REAL ID or an approved TSA alternative, or be willing to obtain one.
