About the Role
Reporting to the VP Estimating/Lead Estimator, the Estimator‑Quantities Takeoff will review contract plans and specifications, perform detailed quantity take‑offs, and manage bid documentation. The role also involves soliciting subcontractor quotations, preparing comparison sheets, assisting with bid schedules, and ensuring compliance with D/M/WBE and proposal requirements. • Review contract plans, specifications, and related bid documents. • Perform detailed quantity take‑offs for assigned items. • Identify and document unusual items and special conditions. • File, update, and log bid documents, RFIs, and RFCs. • Solicit quotations from subcontractors and suppliers; prepare HCSS comparison sheets. • Assist in preparing bid schedules and GFE using SmartBid for D/M/WBE compliance. • Develop clear write‑ups for SOQ/RFP proposals and support bid submission documentation. • Compare and reconcile quantities for joint‑venture bids. • Communicate effectively within the team and seek guidance when needed.

What You Bring
• BS in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred) and at least 5 years of heavy‑civil construction experience, including 3 years in estimating. • Proficient with HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Excel, Primavera P6, and SmartBid software.

Benefits
