About the Role
KBR is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to provide senior technical leadership across its Technical Intelligence (TI) Operating Unit. The role supports mission execution with NASIC, NSIC, and MSIC while shaping technical proposals and contributing to business development. It serves as the senior advisor, delivering high‑impact, mission‑relevant intelligence solutions for the Air Force, Space Force, Department of War and the broader Intelligence Community. The advisor offers high‑quality technical advice to stakeholders, analysts and engineers, and guides capture efforts and program execution. They mentor junior staff and advise program managers on emerging threats and analytic methodologies, reinforcing technical rigor across multidisciplinary teams. In addition to technical oversight, the position leads strategic initiatives that expand KBR’s capabilities and customer footprint. Direct engagement with government customers helps identify emerging needs and positions KBR for future work across DoW, IC and adjacent mission partners. • Serve as senior technical authority for TI Operating Unit, overseeing intelligence analysis, engineering, and advanced technology efforts. • Provide technical oversight, mentor junior analysts and engineers, and advise program managers on emerging threats and methodologies. • Lead Independent Research and Development (IRAD) initiatives, identify high‑value concepts, and champion proposals through KBR’s governance process. • Shape technical strategy for new business captures, delivering discriminators, win themes, solution architectures, and proposal content. • Engage directly with government customers to define emerging requirements and expand KBR’s footprint beyond NASIC, NSIC, and MSIC.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an advanced degree in a relevant technical field and bring extensive experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community missions. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. • Hold a master’s degree or PhD in a relevant technical discipline and possess 15+ years of DoD/Intelligence Community technical leadership experience. • Demonstrated experience supporting NASIC, NSIC, or MSIC and active TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly preferred). • Preferred background includes roles such as Chief Scientist, Technical Director, or Principal Engineer, and familiarity with AI/ML, advanced sensing, space systems, ISR, and modeling & simulation. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and executive‑level briefings.
