CNC Setup Machinist- 2nd Shift

About the Role
The role involves leading changeovers between production runs on CNC mills and lathes, then operating selected machines for the remainder of the run while ensuring part quality. It requires precise tool setup, establishment of work offsets, and adherence to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards. The machinist must be able to read and adjust CNC program codes and coordinate inputs for up to three axes. • Set tools for machine setup and perform part changeover, including program retrieval and input. • Establish work offsets (G54, G55, etc.) manually and via probing technology. • Read, interpret, and reset CNC machine program codes. • Calculate and input X, Y, Z axis coordinates for up to three‑axis CNC machines, or use a spindle probe to determine offsets. • Apply GD&T results to adjust work offsets.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED. • Minimum two years' experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills (or equivalent education). • At least one year of experience setting up CNC lathes and/or mills. • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Must be a U.S. person per ITAR regulations. • Technical degree in manufacturing, machining, or related field (preferred). • Experience with various manual machines such as lathes, mills, jig borers, grinders (preferred). • Ability to read blueprints and sketches with GD&T proficiency (preferred). • Proficient in basic shop math (preferred). • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude (preferred).
