Job Highlights
About the Role
• Select sheet metal types based on building or design plans • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets • Hang and fabricate ductwork • Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets • Install and cut metal sheets with supportive frameworks • Fabricate or alter parts on construction sites • Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal components • Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering • Perform on‑site or shop fabrication, set hangers, trim, fit, hang, and seal ductwork • Use basic tools for the trade and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
