About the Role

• Conduct engineering concept through detailed design of mechanical systems. • Ensure technical compliance, consistent quality, and conduct in‑house design reviews. • Lead and motivate teams, set objectives, monitor performance, and coach staff. • Implement and manage QA systems and procedures on all projects. • Apply company health and safety standards and CDM regulations to designs. • Adhere to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality management systems.

What You Bring

We seek a detail‑oriented professional with strong mechanical engineering expertise who can act as a self‑starter, manage resources, and uphold the highest technical and regulatory standards while working within a broader multi‑disciplinary team. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field. • Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience in a design consultancy, including data centre projects. • Experience managing mechanical design across all stages. • Expertise in critical mechanical systems and HVAC engineering (cooling, ventilation, humidification, fuel oil, flue). • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD. • Demonstrated leadership, team coordination, and project management skills. • Prior experience with an architectural/engineering consulting firm.
