About the Role
Step Into Leadership – Hiring an Assistant Service Manager to Help Drive Service Excellence. We are seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager with a “Whatever It Takes” attitude to join our team in a full‑time role responsible for ensuring the community’s physical aspects meet company standards and applicable laws. • Manage, develop, and mentor the maintenance team in diagnosing problems and making repairs. • Provide expert troubleshooting for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances. • Establish and maintain a 24‑hour on‑call schedule, remaining personally available for emergencies such as snow or ice. • Organize and manage inventory of all maintenance materials. • Create preventive maintenance, make‑ready, and work order schedules for the team. • Conduct regular inspections of community buildings, including vacant units. • Complete tasks assigned by the Service Manager.

What You Bring
• Active, valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. • Live within a 30‑minute commute of the properties. • HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.

Benefits
Compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience, and may result in total earnings outside the listed $24‑$26 per hour range.
