About the Role

The Fire Alarm Engineer leads fire alarm system design, delivering integrated solutions across projects while acting as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders. • Design fire alarm systems and coordinate with MEP disciplines. • Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients, architects, vendors, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction. • Manage CAD and technical staff. • Participate in employee performance reviews. • Write engineering proposals and deliver presentations at trade organizations. • Support business development by nurturing client relationships and attending industry events. • Design VESDA, Clean Agent, and fire alarm systems for commercial, industrial, institutional, governmental, critical, and storage facilities. • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, ICC building codes, and perform fire‑life‑safety commissioning. • Travel to project locations as required.
