About the Role

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician you will support the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, and you will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. The role requires promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, managing work orders and inventory, mentoring junior technicians, and maintaining positive relationships across the operations facility. • Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance on material handling equipment and document work. • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical components such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. • Manage work orders in a CMMS, tracking labor hours, parts used, and inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive relationships across all operations areas. • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. • Work flexible schedules/shifts and travel 6–12 miles daily between sites.

What You Bring

Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems, two years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience, one year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading, knowledge of electrical principles, CMMS experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work flexible schedules. Preferred qualifications are an associate’s or higher degree in mechanical or electrical fields, familiarity with OEM and safety standards for material handling equipment, experience with robotic operation and maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot basic I/O functions. • Meet physical demands: lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, use aerial lifts, and wear required PPE. • Possess at least 2 years experience repairing MHE and conducting preventive maintenance. • Hold a high school diploma; associate degree in mechanical/electrical fields preferred.
