Job Highlights
About the Role
The incumbent will travel as needed for client meetings, workshops, site visits, and presentations, while maintaining high‑quality technical outputs and adhering to budgets and schedules. They will also mentor entry‑level engineers and interns, providing first‑level guidance on water‑resources projects. • Build and calibrate hydrologic and hydraulic models using HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, MIKE, and GEO‑SLOPE; incorporate MODFLOW where applicable. • Integrate model outputs into real‑time decision support dashboards and data systems for water‑resource management. • Conduct data processing, automation, and analysis with MATLAB or Python to generate technical reports and visualizations. • Support multi‑project workflows, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across India and delivering high‑quality documentation. • Travel to client meetings, workshops, site visits, and presentations to gather data and present findings. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns on water‑resources tasks. • Ensure project deliverables meet budgetary and schedule constraints under moderate supervision.

What You Bring
The Water division in Bangalore seeks an experienced hydrologic and hydraulic modeler. The role involves developing models with HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, MIKE, and related tools, supporting real‑time decision‑support systems, and delivering engineering analysis under senior guidance. The position also requires data processing, report preparation, and coordination across multiple projects in India. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering or a related field, with 5–8 years of hands‑on H&H modeling experience. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in MATLAB or Python, and the ability to identify inconsistencies in data or model results are required. A Master’s degree or experience with MODFLOW, groundwater‑surface water interaction, and geotechnical‑water modeling is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering or related discipline; 5–8 years of H&H modeling experience. • Strong analytical judgment with ability to detect and resolve data or model inconsistencies. • Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for hydrologic time‑series processing and automation. • Experience with groundwater‑surface water interaction modeling (MODFLOW) or geotechnical‑water interface modeling is advantageous.
