About the Role

The role works closely with multidisciplinary design teams to champion BMS and smart‑building outcomes beyond the immediate scope, leading systems‑integration activities across building services. Projects range from high‑rise towers such as 22 Bishopsgate to data centres, stadiums and transformational healthcare facilities, positioning the team as a standard‑setter in ICT and smart consulting. • Develop and engineer HVAC control designs for high‑performance buildings. • Coordinate delivery of motor‑control panels, software configuration, graphics and commissioning. • Apply controls engineering expertise to enhance mechanical and electrical system designs. • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to achieve BMS and smart‑building objectives. • Lead systems‑integration design across building services disciplines. • Produce detailed performance specifications and technical documentation for BMS solutions. • Design control systems compatible with cloud analytics, adhering to naming and cybersecurity standards. • Define and document formal requirements, approval processes and implementation roadmaps. • Manage subcontractors and internal resources to deliver complete BMS system integrations. • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of major BMS platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell and Delta Controls. • Monitor HVAC technology trends to reduce energy consumption and support sustainability goals. • Incorporate smart‑building standards like BDNS, WELL, LEED, BREEAM SmartScore and WiredScore. • Write reports and specifications that meet industry accreditation requirements. • Take ownership of deliverables and maintain client‑focused service quality. • Participate in training, mentoring and chartership development opportunities.
