About the Role
The senior developer will lead the creation of robust, efficient solutions, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, and stay current with emerging FileMaker capabilities to continuously improve business processes. • Design, develop, and deploy custom FileMaker solutions for internal and external stakeholders. • Gather user requirements and translate them into functional specifications. • Write complex scripts, calculations, and workflows to automate tasks and boost productivity. • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and performance tuning for FileMaker databases. • Integrate FileMaker applications with APIs, external databases, and other systems. • Troubleshoot, debug, and test applications to ensure reliability and accuracy. • Create documentation and train end‑users on solution usage. • Participate in code reviews and adhere to development standards. • Collaborate with developers and IT staff on system design and architecture decisions.

What You Bring
• Minimum 3 years experience as a FileMaker Developer. • Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, scripting, calculations, and layout design. • Experience integrating FileMaker with APIs, RESTful services, and external databases. • Expertise in database design, normalization, and performance optimization. • Proficiency in security management, user access control, and data protection. • Excellent problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience preferred.
