About the Role
The Construction Project Manager oversees daily site activities for large‑scale, energy‑efficiency‑focused commercial construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget control while coordinating subcontractors and communicating progress to project leadership. • Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to meet time and budget objectives. • Develop and review schedules, cost estimates, bills of materials, budgets, and scopes of work. • Ensure safe working conditions, enforce OSHA compliance, and report hazards. • Prepare and submit daily progress reports, issue logs, and status documentation. • Conduct high‑level quality control inspections and enforce site cleanliness. • Manage site logistics, including material storage and staging aligned with the schedule. • Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with building management to meet contractual requirements.

What You Bring
This Construction Project Manager role requires a 100 % on‑site presence, initially in the Washington, D.C. metro area, with the ability to adapt to varied shifts, including second shift and weekends, and to travel as project needs dictate. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related field (or equivalent experience), possess an OSHA 10‑hour card, a valid driver’s license, and be physically able to meet job demands. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's in an engineering discipline, OSHA 30‑hour certification, and proven experience with large commercial projects, scheduling tools, and construction trades. • Minimum qualifications: bachelor's degree in engineering/construction (or equivalent experience), OSHA 10‑hour certification, valid driver’s license, ability to work full‑time on‑site, and physical capability to lift 50 lb and climb ladders. • Preferred qualifications: bachelor's in electrical/mechanical/construction management, OSHA 30‑hour certification, experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, and large‑scale commercial construction.
