Senior Estimator
Lead large bid proposals, manage estimators, and support cost estimating.
Job Highlights
About the Role
The Senior Estimator is responsible for assembling large‑dollar bid proposals while managing other estimators in the proposal process. This position also follows up and negotiates with clients to close deals and, once contracts are awarded, provides ongoing cost‑estimate support to operations. • Provide guidance to estimators. • Oversee and complete quantity survey take‑offs. • Manage vendor and subcontractor contacts. • Prepare pricing, bids, and proposals. • Conduct post‑bid activities. • Transition projects from pre‑construction to operations. • Supply cost estimates for construction changes. • Ensure a safe work environment. • Participate in training and certifications.

What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree in construction management, accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution and at least six years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) is required. This mix of education and experience ensures the candidate possesses the technical expertise and practical insight needed for the senior estimator role.
