About the Role
Within the electrical engineering team you will design electrical systems for oil and gas, power and renewable‑energy projects. Work may range from conceptual studies and front‑end engineering design (FEED) to detailed design execution, procurement, construction and commissioning of complete facilities. The role involves interpreting client specifications and international standards, preparing technical specifications, reviewing designs, performing load and cable calculations, and guiding a team of engineers while ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance. • Read, understand and implement client specifications and local/international standards. • Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, etc., with minimal supervision. • Develop and review electrical layouts, power distribution schemes, and single‑line diagrams (SLDs). • Perform load lists, load calculations, cable sizing, earthing and lighting calculations, and create cable schedules and interconnection diagrams. • Design basic control schematics. • Lead and manage a team of 5‑10 engineers/designers. • Review vendor drawings for electrical items and associated mechanical packages. • Apply relevant HSE considerations throughout assigned tasks.

What You Bring
Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment are essential. • Utilize ETAP or SPEL software (preferred). • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. • Possess 12‑16 years of experience in oil & gas or industrial projects. • Demonstrate solid knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS and related equipment.
