Regulators Assembly Stacker - 3rd Shift
Assemble and test reactor cores and sub‑assemblies on a 3rd shift line
Job Highlights
About the Role
The technician assembles Main, PT, and Reactor cores and related sub‑assemblies following customer specifications, blueprints, bills of material, and standardized operating procedures. They load cores and coils onto the stacking line, stack the core around coil legs, and secure units on pallets aligned with order numbers. Units are labeled, steel‑banded, and built to OPS and quality standards using calibrated tools. After assembly, each unit is tested with a TTR Tester to verify proper ratio and secure connections, and any issues are troubleshooted. The technician performs rework on damaged components or assemblies to meet quality standards, transports finished racks to storage, and scans units according to the shipping schedule to generate data for oven loading. The role requires operating a wide range of manual and power‑operated tools—including forklifts, screw guns, air ratchets, welding machines, crimp tools, hydraulic presses, hoists, lead‑cutting machines, and overhead cranes—to move materials and finished products. Routine maintenance on tools and equipment is performed. The job involves lifting up to 40 lb and frequent bending, twisting, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and two‑handed handling. • Assemble Main, PT, and Reactor cores and sub‑assemblies per specifications and standardized procedures. • Load cores and coils onto the stacking line and stack units around coil legs. • Build sub‑assemblies using calibrated tools and adhere to OPS quality standards. • Operate brazing equipment, leads, and crossovers. • Test finished units with a TTR Tester, troubleshoot and resolve issues. • Perform rework on defective components or assemblies to meet quality criteria. • Transport finished racks to storage and scan units for shipping and oven loading data. • Conduct routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery. • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, forklifts, hydraulic presses, hoists, and overhead cranes. • Follow PPE requirements and safety protocols at all times.
