About the Role
The role is based in the Dallas Main division, located in Dallas, TX 75231, and is a regular, salaried exempt position within the Construction job family. The incumbent will oversee the scheduling team, project staff, or consultants assigned to scheduling functions on one or more construction projects of varying size and complexity for the Business Unit. Key responsibilities include developing full CPM baseline schedules, monitoring progress, integrating BIM and 4D models with VDC, applying Last Planner System methodology, and producing monthly progress updates and look‑ahead schedules. The leader will coordinate with Preconstruction, Commissioning, Procurement, and Construction departments, conduct schedule reviews with leadership, and present scheduling dashboards at Operations Review Meetings. • Lead and supervise scheduling engineers, staff, and consultants across multiple construction projects. • Create and maintain critical path method (CPM) baseline schedules from project launch through substantial completion. • Integrate BIM, 4D models, and logistics planning with VDC teams. • Apply Last Planner System (LPS) methodology and develop cost/resource‑loaded schedules. • Generate monthly progress narratives, target comparisons, and look‑ahead schedules. • Conduct schedule reviews and provide dashboard statistics at Operations Review Meetings and pull‑plan sessions. • Support business development by preparing proposal schedules and contract language. • Train employees on scheduling software and best‑practice techniques. • Ensure adherence to Turner’s Scheduling Playbook and promote consistent scheduling standards. • Serve as subject‑matter expert to clients, educating them on planning and scheduling expectations. • Perform site walks to verify progress and update schedules accordingly. • Audit schedules using diagnostic tools to assess health, risk, and LPS integration, and provide feedback for improvement. • Implement advanced risk analysis techniques such as weather impacts, Time Impact Analyses, and cost loading. • Provide historical schedule data for claim defense or initiation. • Work in noisy construction sites, exposure to moving equipment, weather, and occasional office or remote settings.

What You Bring
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and have at least eight years of relevant experience, including large‑scale projects over $100 million. Desired certifications include AACE, PSP, or PMI‑SP, and proficiency with Primavera P6 and diagnostic tools such as Acumen Fuse is required. The position involves regular physical activity on construction sites, including climbing stairs, ladders, and using hoists, with occasional lifting of up to 25 lb. The work environment ranges from noisy construction sites to quieter office settings, and the employee must comply with safety policies and accommodate occasional travel. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field. • Minimum 8 years of experience on large construction projects (> $100 M). • Scheduling certification (AACE, PSP, PMI‑SP) preferred. • Experience in construction project engineering and supervisory roles. • Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 and schedule diagnostic tools (Acumen Fuse, Change Inspector). • Strong ability to interpret contracts, drawings, specifications, and develop schedules. • Advanced knowledge of gap analysis, risk management, and earned‑value concepts. • Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills. • Experience with continuous improvement methods (lean construction, Takt). • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, use hoists, and perform site inspections; lift up to 25 lb. • Must comply with safety policies and may travel short or long distances as needed.
